"The Nest is a unique place to stay. The home is about 150 years old, yet everything is remodeled and in good working order. The location is amazing - this is where the aristocrats of the 19th century used to live, overlooking the Chattanooga that they were helping to develop. We were there in the winter and loved just sitting out on the spacious deck and looking out over the city.The home is nicely decorated, with many places to sit and chill out, both inside and out.You will be in the woods....

"Loved the property and the house! There was fishing for the boys, hot tub for the teens and adults and plenty of yard for the kids to run around and play. The property owner felt like the uncle in Tennessee I’ve never had! Haha! House is was stocked with household supplies and made it very convenient and affordable to stay! We are wanting to make this place a yearly stay. "

"The keys were not left out like they were supposed to be. Another group in a different cabin also did not have a key left out for them. Thankfully, a door was left unlocked so that we could get in (which is horribly unsafe). I tried to contact the host about the keys and never got a response. It was pretty bad all around. Wish I could get my money back. "

"The home was more beautiful than described. The view of the lake was spectactular. Enjoyed seeing so much wildlife from waterfowl, eagles, songbirds to deer from the cozy and warm den. Very private but meeting an occasional neighbor walking their dog was nice too. For those looking for a summer vacation this home would be perfect as well. I came to attend the Tennessee Sandhill Crane Festival which was great. "

"I recommend this place to everyone. It’s absolutely amazing. From the way it’s decorated with such thought and care into the ambiance. We cannot wait to go back in the warmer weather to enjoy all the amenities they have to offer. The property is something else. "The cabin was a perfect retreat for our Christmas getaway to Chattanooga. It is located just minutes from all the main attractions Chattanooga has to offer but nestled away in a quiet wooded area. We were able to explore the wooded property and felt at home from the moment we arrived. Cabin was very clean and well stocked upon arrival.
