"It is an older establishment and they are working on it. We were comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating."

"I originally booked this for our family of 6. Due to kids schedules only one parent and one child stayed. The listing describes that it's connected like a duplex but we didn't expect to hear so much. It felt a little uncomfortable, like we were invading their privacy. Also it made us worry about being too loud for them, I would have been really anxious if we had all gone because our little kids are NOT quiet.There is no control of the AC and it was freezing!! We didn't reach out and ask for them...

"My husband and I just got back from Wine Down Acres and we’re already talking about our next stay there. The house was clean, the property well taken care of, and the hosts were very friendly. Our dogs enjoyed running around the property and swimming in the pond. We didn’t bring fishing gear this time, but next time we will, as the pond was well stocked with fish. Even though the hosts live at a house on the back of the property, we felt very secluded and had plenty of privacy. We spent most of...

"We have a ton of kids. House was perfect for our getaway. Just a short trip to Santa’s wonderland at a lot better price than staying in college station. "
