"Booked the king room with the giant Jacuzzi tub. Room was very clean. Had a hiccup with the plug not being attached but was able to get it in after a few attempts. The gentleman at the desk was helpful and responsive, as was the management via text message. Both check-in and checkout was smooth. No issues. Great location. Easy to get to restaurants, UNCC and entertainment. "

"The room was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel property that I experienced (including elevators and the breakfast area), and there was plenty of parking. The general area seemed very safe and I took a one-hour walk for exercise late one night around the perimeter of the hotel property and the adjacent hotel property. The bed was quite comfortable and I slept very well. The free breakfast was a cut above some of the ones that I have experienced at similar hotels, and there are nearby restaurants -- even a couple within walking distance. I ate at a Texas Roadhouse that I walked to, which was fine for a single meal even though I am not a fan of that chain. The one downside of this property, along with every other hotel in the area is the traffic noise from a busy nearby highway. This hotel does not front on the highway like some other hotels in that area do, but you can hear the noise anyway. I solved the problem by setting the fan on my AC/heating unit to High to modulate the outside sounds and dialing down the temperature when I went to bed. I am a light sleeper but the noise did not bother me after that and I had a very restful night. FYI, my room overlooked the front of the hotel, so a different room might not have experienced this issue. "
