"The grounds are beautiful, but the service is lacking. They are very understaffed. While, the staff was typically professional. I would not describe them as engaging. Calabash is average food at best, and the staff gets overwhelmed very easy. The food takes forever. We did have a wonderful time in Barbados in general and did not spend much time at the resort. "We circled round the place twice in order to find it. there was no curb appeal. Parking was not easily identified. There is no front office, we came in and had to ask Restaurant staff where the hotel was, we were directed to "small office to the back of pool" In our booking we paid for bed and breakfast however we still had to pay for breakfast! Not ideal!! Room was satisfactory.. Upon entry no welcome drink or cold towel! Not even a bottle of water in fridge in room! A coffee maker...
