"Very well equipped, clean and cosy. with stunning views from the windows. An ideal base for investigating the lovely Afan Valley. Also close enough for Mumbles, Gower and Swansea. Off road parking. Lovely garden but a lot of stairs to deal with."

"It is a lovely apartment that met our needs. Beds were very comfortable and living room relaxing. Beautiful views from back of apartment. There are lovely walks for our dogs in the valley, it was only 15 minutes to the dog friendly end of the beach in Port Talbot. We had a great stay. "

"Beautiful property. Excellent hosts who were very helpful throughout our stay. Lots to do in the area. Would highly recommend. X"

"Once inside, the property is very nice. But FINDING it is impossible without careful assistance from the owner. The street address given by VRBO does not exist. The property access is off a run down alley BEHIND where the street address would be. No navigation system in the world could find this place. You have to carefully go down the parallel alley and look for the property. The owner emailed me pictures of the property from the alley which was the ONLY way to actually find it."

"Absolutely amazing, we have never stayed anywhere like this, the pictures do not do it justice, the place is huge! The views are stunning and you have everything there you may need. Surprised there was no air-conditioning in what looks like a new ish building. Thanks again, this will be our go to place when we ever visit Swansea. "

"The flat is in the middle of a main pedestrian street with lots of shops and a few blocks to the shore. Monique was very accommodating allowing us early check in with our bags. We appreciated her restaurant recommendations and treating us to chocolate bars in the frig."

"We, a family of 4, enjoyed our 2 night stay a lot."

"Everything was fine - except that it was freezing cold in the bathroom. The storage heater could have been put on for an hour or so before my arrival. As it was the room was so cold! And if I kept it on at night, the noise of the thing going on and off kept me awake. So - a little more thought could be given to how to deal with that for comfort's sake."

"What a beautiful place to stay . The only room above a fully renovated pub. Both the room and the pub are beautifully done. It's a large spacious room . The classic cast iron slipper foot tub in the middle of the room was used everyday. Great way to wind down. A convenience store is across the street so is parking . Great food downstairs in the pub and the staff couldn't have been nicer. If Southerndown is on your radar . This is the spot!"
