"My partner & I had a great vacation in Matagorda with our two dogs and we really enjoyed the rental. We were able to cook all of our own meals in the kitchen and we really enjoyed that. Only word of advice is to bring bug spray because the mosquitos are vicious! But we loved the beach and how nearby it was."

"This spot was close to kayak launching spots and fishing hot spots - which was the primary purpose of our trip. The lit fishing deck was an added bonus! The house was clean and perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware, dinnerware, and utensils. We had plenty of towels and toiletries for our stay. We would definitely stay again if we find our way back to the area. "

"Nice place to stay for a quick getaway near the beach. TV is a little challenging as we couldn’t get major networks so we couldnt watch college football on ABC. Unit faces mostly west so if you are there in June- September the ac will probably not keep up especially in the upstairs bedroom. "
