"We needed to make a last minute trip to MI from SC to visit family. We were so lucky that this little gem was available. It is small and cozy but had everything we needed. The weather was cold and snowy. It was beautiful. It felt like we were inside a snow globe during our stay. It was only 8 minutes from our family which made it very convenient. We usually make MI our summer vacation but after this stay we are thinking of adding a winter trip. This was a wonderful winter retreat."

"We did a winter stay due to family events occurring in January. Because the grandkids are from the south, they never get to experience snow or a frozen lake. It was beautiful views for them to enjoy out of the windows and seeing ice fisherman was a real treat for everyone.There were plenty of beds for everyone and we had no issues with having an infant. All the details were thought of in this house!- labeled cabinets and light switches, anything you could possibly need in the kitchen, etc. Would definitely recommend!"

"The property was very clean, and well stocked with a lot of things you may need. Although something that i really think should have been mentioned in the listing is that it seems people live upstairs. Not knowing this beforehand was shocking, and made the stay a little bit uncomfortable, even though we didnt come into contact with them. Also there are insturction signs for every little thing in the house, and that made the place a little less welcoming. "
