"The property is not walking distance to Castro as described. This should be removed from the description as you need a car to to anywhere. It has lovely views but for the price lacks the higher end facilities that we would expect e.g. the kitchen had many appliances but most were old and could do with replacing. There was ample linen though the towels were not very hard. Outside the small pool had only 2 sun beds both of which had seen better days. For a 4 bed villa 2 beds were not sufficient...

Toutefois les matelas à ressorts sont très inconfortables, la piscine est commune à plusieurs locations (plus ou moins indiqué dans le texte de l’annonce mais nous avions coché "piscine privée"...), la terrasse de la maison étant à 3-4 mètres de la piscine nous avions des inconnus juste sous le nez (et avec des enfants, hors période scolaire..) dommage !"

"This is a beautiful house in the peaceful countryside and completely private. It is situated just over 2km from the centre of Martano. The house is spacious and well equipped and the outdoor terraces were perfect for sunbathing and meals. Valentina and her father, Alessandro, were very friendly and helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their house. Thank you!"

"Basic house with well documented issues with shower problems. Quiet location although you can hear people moving and talking in the adjoining villa. The swimming pool was beautiful but cold, and in a beautiful well kept garden. Salvatore and Rosie were extremely welcoming and gave very useful local advice, as well as providing us with an excellent Apulian meal."
