"This house was just like the pictures and worked perfect for our group of 8 adults. My only regret is not having more time to spend just hanging out at the house. I highly recommend staying here. The caretaker, Oronizino, was great!"

"The house is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay, with several shops and supermarkets close by to stock up on groceries etc. Location wise, it’s perfectly situated to visit all the towns and beaches that the area has to offer. Renting a car is a must to explore the area. Emiliano (the host) and his son were fantastic in giving advice of places to visit and see and made our stay very comfortable. Any questions we had they were happy to answer. We can’t wait to come back...

"This is a beautiful house in the peaceful countryside and completely private. It is situated just over 2km from the centre of Martano. The house is spacious and well equipped and the outdoor terraces were perfect for sunbathing and meals. Valentina and her father, Alessandro, were very friendly and helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their house. Thank you!"

"The property is not walking distance to Castro as described. This should be removed from the description as you need a car to to anywhere. It has lovely views but for the price lacks the higher end facilities that we would expect e.g. the kitchen had many appliances but most were old and could do with replacing. There was ample linen though the towels were not very hard. Outside the small pool had only 2 sun beds both of which had seen better days. For a 4 bed villa 2 beds were not sufficient...

"La maison est magnifique, spacieuse et propre. Toutefois les matelas à ressorts sont très inconfortables, la piscine est commune à plusieurs locations (plus ou moins indiqué dans le texte de l’annonce mais nous avions coché "piscine privée"...), la terrasse de la maison étant à 3-4 mètres de la piscine nous avions des inconnus juste sous le nez (et avec des enfants, hors période scolaire..) dommage !"

"Basic house with well documented issues with shower problems. Quiet location although you can hear people moving and talking in the adjoining villa. The swimming pool was beautiful but cold, and in a beautiful well kept garden. Salvatore and Rosie were extremely welcoming and gave very useful local advice, as well as providing us with an excellent Apulian meal."

"The hosts should consider a smoother check in and check out procedure. There was a general lack of effective communication. The layout was a bit unusual with one full bathroom next to the kitchen and not near either of the main bedrooms. We only found out about a third bedroom into our stay. The property also had several expense items that are unusual including having to rent and pay extra for linens and requiring a security deposit refundable by the host after an inspection on check out. "We loved our stay here so much!! There was so much room for everyone (ages 8-80) to play, sleep, and gather for meals on the gorgeous patio or swims in the pool. Giulia was an amazing communicator and helped us tremendously on her personal time when we experienced a medical emergency. I can’t thank her enough for sharing her home with us and treating us so well. We truly hope to be back to enjoy the lovely area, the beautiful and relaxing home, and the stunning seas nearby!"

"The house was very spacious. It was very clean. It had a lovely private garden/ orchard and although the pool was not big it was good for cooling off. There was a cafe next door and a bakery next door to that. There is a supermarket about 3mins in the car away and there are a few local restaurants. We only ate at one, Il Sogno.. Not a huge menu but a very good meal. Communication with the host was good. Good outside seating, could maybe do with more comfortable seating inside. A very pleasant...

"This villa is located well for access to some incredible beaches, although we found it a little far to walk and so paid €5 to park closer to the beach. The owners of the villa were welcoming and helpful, pointing us towards a great snorkelling beach for our son (San Foca). The villa itself was clean and the outside space really make it stand out. "A stunning and immaculate property: stylish, spacious, wonderfully clean and well eqipped and all perfect for our week in August. The aircon was much appreciated and between that and the stunning pool, all was up to scratch! Special thanks to the property concierge who organised some extras for us like a private chef for an evening and a wonderful yacht trip, as well as advising on local amenities.
