They did refund £20 which was used for taxis because it was so far from where we needed to be."

"It had everything we needed. Bed was comfy. Bedding and towels were clean. There was a shelf unit that was about to collapse and the blinds were knackered and discoloured. "Did not get room that paid for. Room that we were given had dirty carpet dirty and not been vaccumed. Room had broken room window held open (heat wave in England) with piece of wood. Breakfast limited. No yogurt or fruit. Given butter for toast from a container in the kitchen and it was full of other people's crumbs and unidentified food. "No free Wi-fi code left anywhere and attendants mobile never responded, horrible almost on floor bed with urine stained manky old worn unprotected mattress, bedroom window blind broken so exposed to neighbours and tatty external areas, no bathroom mirror (previously broken and not replaced), paid £6 extra for breakfast, expecting cooked, but it was a help yourself basic toast/cereal. "This is a very special place, a fabulous barn conversion set in beautiful countryside. The room has everything and more, with the hosts going out of their way to make any stay here special. Another highlight is breakfast in the garden which again was unlike any other breakfast I've ever had. This place is a gem."
