"This fabulous property with amazing grounds gives you a real glimpse into Malta’s grand homes of the past. There are multiple bedrooms both inside and accessed from outside the main house. The proximity to the airport was not a problem ( couldn’t hear the planes at all). The location was very convenient for grocery shops( either a short drive or a walk to a smaller convenience store )If you have young children there is a lovely little playground just across the road that we put to good use. ...

"This house is no good if you have any kind of walking ishouse. Firstly is the fact that every room is on a different floor. The master bedroom with ensuite is on the ground floor, the next bedroom is up a flight of stairs and so on with each room up more stairs. Secondly is that the house is almost at the top of a hill. You can drive to the house but you can't park, you can only drop off. You have to park next to the marina and walk up all the steps to get to the front door, befour climbing four...

"Everything was even better than I expected. My multi-generational family (2 couples and a teenager) stayed at this amazing home for a week. The original stone features, including the arches, are on the first floor and the renovations on the second and third floors are first rate. Everything was clean and neat, which is not always the case. There is a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washing machine on the upper floor, which makes longer visits a lot less stressful. The host was very helpful...

"Location of this property was amazing. Right in the heart of town and walking distance to everything. The shower curtain is too short and couldn’t adjust it so the floor was what every time after showering. Beds were comfortable. Would highly recommend you staying here, location was perfect!"

"My friends and I loved our stay at Ta’ Golina Corner House. As advertised, it was indeed on the corner of Republic St. and North Street. Republic is one of two main streets in the center of Valetta and North St. leads directly to The Maltese Experience, Fort St Elmo and the waterfront. The location could not have been more perfect. "The house was clean and well-located. Contact with the host was responsive. The only quirk is the only common areas were outside. In warmer, drier weather, this would not have been a problem because the courtyard was lovely. Since we didn't have all the rooms occupied, we turned the basement bedroom/sitting area (#2) as our common area. Everyone had a wonderful stay. "
