"The hotel is lovely and is perfect if you want to stay in the heart of Valletta. The staff are friendly and helpful and James the restaurant manager was extremely polite, professional, friendly and helpful. The pools were lovely but the temperatures of both may have been more comfortable if they were warmer. The hotel is so clean and tidy and even smells amazing! "

"Excellent hotel in old Valletta with good breakfast and walking distance to the main attractions. The staff at the reception is super friendly and very helpful. They arrange and sell tickets to everything you can think of. Even a taxi to the airport is paid there and you are not worried to be ripped off. Breakfast is a combination of buffet and a la carte (included) and restaurant staff is friendly and welcoming. Room was kind of small, but with a nice view. In general highly recommended "

"From when we checked in to when we checked out was excellent, I couldn't fault it. We had a spacious apartment with with a pulldown bed and a separate bedroo. The hotel is right on Republic street right on the centre of everything, museums, restaurants and shops all on your doorstep. The apartment was a 2 story apartment, all mod cons . For breakfast, I filled out a breakfast card, plenty of choices and delivered directly to our apartment with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble, we left our luggage there free of charge after we checked out. Staff were great. Apartment was spotless and we had a balcony overlooking the street which surprising was quite. A Spar supermarket was minutes away. A lovely strong shower with lovely bathroom products, also slippers & bathrobe. I will stay there again the next time II'm in Valetta. "

"Our 5 night stay at 66 Saint Pauls & Spa was fabulous. Greeted by Maximilian and a glass of Prosecco in a beautiful building far exceeded our expectations! Our room was beautiful and we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Valletta. The daily breakfast offer was plentiful and delicious. Thank you to the whole team who made our stay so wonderful. We would definitely recommend for a couples break in the heart of Valletta."

"Lovely traditional hotel. Public spaces were definitely '5 star', comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious. Rooms were less so, more a solid '4 star' as neither plush nor overly comfortable. On arrival, there were blown lamp bulbs that should have been replaced before giving the room to guests and the USB sockets did not work either which was somewhat inconvenient. However, most room amenities were excellent (like the Acgua di Parma toiletries) and the daily complimentary soft drink mini bar was nice to have. House keeping was prompt and excellent (except last day when rooms were still unmade at 4.00pm) and evening turn down service was faultless. Beds were comfortable linens were top notch. Had a huge if slightly old fashioned bathroom but it was nice to have a large opening window. Breakfast was faultless and the service exemplary, nothing was too much trouble and carried out in a very friendly warm fashion, in fact every staff member we had contact with were excellent. It all felt genuine. Had dinner one evening in the restaurant and that was excellent too. There was a Christmas tree lighting ceremony during our stay which offered delicious canapes and pastries. Hotel location is excellent, at the gates to Valletta town. There are extensive nicely maintained gardens but the open air swimming pool was at the furthest end of the grounds and looked pretty rough and uninviting, might be better in the summer months. But definitely recommend - had a great stay. "
