"We had a great stay. Kelley was communicative about the details and responded to questions in a timely manner. Location was convenient to downtown Black Mountain. The only issue is the lack of cell phone service, which not a fault of the property, just stating so others are aware. You have to use WiFi calling. I recommend this property for your next visit to the Black Mountain area."

"Lawrence Tech Men’s Lacrosse traveled south during Spring Break to play games against opponents in Georgia and North Carolina. The property was exactly what we were looking for! Plenty of bed space and large rooms to gather in. Checking in and out was a breeze and the property manager, Kelley, communicated everything we needed to know. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"Everything was so nice even though I went at a time when it was cold (March). Only drawback was that the driveway was very steep and my vehicle was unable to make the sharp turn to enter the property. No problems, though, as the owners explained how to do it. "Easy to get in and find. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of extra blankets. Everything worked, had space heaters for bedrooms bc they did get a little chilly at night. Hot tub was great and even had robes for your stay. Very close to Hatley point. Grocery store not too far. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Very close to downtown with many dining options close by, but a feel of being in the mountains. Quiet setting and very comfortable accommodations. Would definitely stay again. "

"We had a wonderful stay for a long weekend with girl friends. The house was beyond what I thought it would be, the pictures don’t do it justice!! The host put special touches that made the stay special, I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a big group stay. I will be back for sure! Thanks again!"

"This is the trickiest mountain road I’ve ever driven. 180° turns that go up at 90° angles, but the chalet is worth the drive. The only thing it needs is comfortable living room furniture. Dealing with Darlene is a delight. Highly recommend."

"One of the cleanest, best stocked VRBO's I've ever stayed in. Quick communications with owner. They even had decorated with a Christmas tree :) The only warning I'd give is that you have a large vehicle (like a Suburban), the road these chalets are on would be challenging! The road is very narrow with switchbacks."

"Our family of 6 stayed here for a week from 10/7-10/14. Our GPS took us straight to the property. Glad we didn't come in at night time though, as the twists and turns up the mountain are tricky the first time. The best part of this property is definitely the views! The kitchen is well stocked with dishware/cookware. Bathrooms were well stocked with shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper and plenty of towels. Six adults with 2 bathrooms did require some planning, but overall was not a big problem....

"Six of us stayed in the chalets for two nights. It was a perfect size for our group and we liked the privacy and sleeping options the two units provided. We enjoyed the walk into town - just about a mile to the nearest brewery, though we took Ubers home. Overall a great stay and perfect for our purposes."
