"We fell in love with the view from the porch, and envisioned having our morning coffee sitting there watching the boats go by. Unfortunately, there was no coffee maker of any sort. Due to a knee injury, my husband needs to sleep with a pillow under his knee, but there were no spare pillows( just one allowed per person - we were told that that was the Italian way). In lieu of a pillow we rolled up the bath towels- but had only been given 2 and they were damp each night. We had been touring for...

"House itself was very spacious and clean. We stayed 3 nights as a family of 7, 5 adults, 2 children. Only 35 mins to Milan. Many restaurants and grocery nearby. Just is very nice and very responsive to all our questions. Tip-ask about all fees prior to booking. Host fees very high. Home is also along side road and traffic can be heard all day/night. Construction began next door on a new home day 2 at 0700. Not the hosts fault, but something to be considered when charging high host fees. Also...

"The property was everything it advertised to be...the setting and interior were absolutely stunning and well kept. Everything was clean and inviting for our family of 15. Large rooms, nice bedrooms & bathrooms and well-stocked kitchens. We spent a week during the Christmas holiday, and they greeted us when we arrived and even set up a beautiful Christmas tree for our family. We were very impressed and grateful for such a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back."

"It was much as I had expected, very clean, good views over the valley and excellent communication with Monia, the owner. We succeeded in stealing a key and a mirror and leaving a pair of glasses behind, all of which are finding their way back. Monia is even paying my parking fine for me as I have no idea how to do it and want to remain law abiding!! A great holiday!! PS. Take her advice re going to the Canottieri rowing club for meals. Great again."

"Live like a local, in the thick of things, yet in a house that is quiet and cool. WE stayed in end of June, and swam every day among the bees smothered lavender. the house is close to Como, Milan, and Varese, and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners are very nice, and were around when we needed things. Lots of grocery stores, and restaurants close by. We loved Found Sushi which acted as a nice palate cleanser to all the pasta we ate:) The Pool is surrounded by Cypress, and calms you...
