"Sandra and Jamshed were there to welcome us despite our late and stormy arrival. They opened their hearts before their home. The location is excellent in a lively street and close to the underground metro station and bus stops. The apartment was explained in detail, but what really attracted us were the many details that drown you when you look at them. "Ideal for 2 people. Not ideal for lengthy stays for more people as pull-out bed took up the whole lounge. A few issues with power failures so no t.v. but our hosts were lovely and friendly and tried to fix any issues promptly. Location perfect. Close to trains and buses."

"Booked this property for my family vacation of 12 people for 8 nights in September 2024. The check-in process was easy - I received the details a few days before check-in and getting into the property was fine. The area of house is located in is decent and in walking distance of shops and restaurants. The main issue we encountered was the overall cleanliness of the property. "Perfectly clean and well-appointed home near the Oracle. Easy walking to all parts of Reading including the train station. The home is bright and extremely comfortable. Tessa and Charles are perfect hosts - very responsive and easy to communicate with. We will be back!"

"The property has beautiful aesthetics however there were some issues with the rental. Firstly, the carpets had dirty black stains and were not clean. Secondly, the seat covers on the dining room chairs were stained. Thirdly the second bathroom didn't have enough hot water. Overall this was not a good value for the money!"
