"Stayed overnight for visit to First Direct Arena. Perfect location for Arena and city centre. Great room. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was varied, good value, but had to wait for refill of some items. Definitely recommend. "

"Visited for a three-day business trip to York. Lovely hotel 3 or so miles from York City Centre. Room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is a little dated but again, spotlessly clean. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant on all three days and whilst not the cheapest meals I have had in Hotel restaurants, the quality was very good. Service was excellent. After a run, I tried to purchase a bottle of water but the bar only had sparkling. The young lady behind the bar offered me a pint of tap water for which no charge was made. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again"

"Fabulous " spur of the moment" night in Harrogate, great hotel friendly, helpful staff. Night's sleep " spoilt" by idiots coming in drunk around 3.30am, but that's not the hotels fault."
