Fantastic quirky place to stay close to Leeds city centre. Very friendly helpful staff. A superb breakfast in the morning. And not forgetting a great Wetherspoons opposite the driveway to the hotel!
Although the accomodation is basic, it’s clean and comfortable.
The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is lovely. Unlimited free coffee is available in the lounge which is a lovely touch.

Lovely old building, very friendly staff on reception, great value for money
Second time here and this stay just as good as the first. Sure, the rooms aren’t 5-star rooms, but they are spacious and the beds are comfy, and the included breakfast is as good as any. Staff are friendly and free parking is easy, as is a short walk to the city centre. Highly recommended, will use again.
I really enjoyed my stay at Hinsley Hall. The room was very clean and warm, comfortable bed, nice breakfast and genuinely very nice and professional reception staff.
Interesting history of the building given in the welcome booklet in my room.
Comfortable bed. Room was clean. Given the cold weather at the time of my stay, the room was nice and cosy and warm.
No tea/coffee facilties in the rooms...but a nice 24 hour lounge with two coffee machines and tea making facilities. Was a great opportunity to speak to the other guest, or just sit quietly by yourself and read.
Good english breakfast and range of cereals, fruit and yoghurt.
Nice looking grounds to walk around in, and plenty of parking.
Good for staying in for one or two nights, at a reasonable rate.

Liked: Cleanliness
We were attracted to this place because it is so historic, built in 1680. We knew it was a conference center and likely to be less plush than many hotels. The room was tiny and not that easy to reach because I have trouble walking and used a cane. However, we still really enjoyed staying there and felt it was exactly the unique experience we were seeking
Not my usual choice for a business trip however it suited location wise. This is a pastoral centre so doesn't have the usual trappings of an "Hotel". However the staff are lovely it is a quite, calming place in beautiful grounds with ample parking, they do have a bar and the Wi Fi was great. No evening meals offered but there is a well known chain just across the road
Room is basic just a room.
Tea coffee water was downstairs.
Was informed staff are happy to bring a tea tray to the room..
Room was very hot had.to the heating off and open windows but was still to warm during the night.
