"Beautiful house set in lovely gardens with stunning views of the hills and village below. The house was spotlessly clean with all the facilities we needed to make our stay so comfortable. 35 minute drive to Bilbao and just over an hour to San Sebastián and easy access to vineyards in the Rioja region. Mikel is a wonderful host giving us clear directions and getting us back in quickly when we managed to lock ourselves out.We hope to stay here again."

Weather not Dorleta’s fault but unless you read the description and looked at the photos very carefully the fact that there is only one external window and that in the kitchen area is not apparent."

The area is rural and unspoilt, and popular with hikers and cyclists. The house was an ideal place from which to explore locally and farther afield, including Bilbao and Santander."

"Dit huis is zelfs beter dan de beschrijving en foto's doen vermoeden. Wij verbleven met twee gezinnen en hadden vier keurige slaapvertrekken en dito saniraire voorzieningen. "We spent a lovely four nights here. The condo was on an upper floor, with plenty of parking at the side of the building. We used supermarkets in Durango (5-10 min drive away) for groceries. It was easy to drive into Durango and take the train to Bilbao for the day too. The kitchen had the basic things you might need (small oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, washer, dishwasher, but no kettle?) and the shower was pleasingly powerful. The air con was very welcome in the sticky July...
