"A lot bigger than i realised. It was a great suprise. Good size room, big shower room. Where the hotel shines is by doing all the simple thing right. - high pressure shower - 2 chairs in room - bowl of sweets - comfy king size bed - good quality pillows - good soundproofing - comfortable temp. - friendly, helpful staff - good quality, fresh breakfast I thoroughly enjoyed staying. My only slight criticism is that the otherwise extensive food menu only has two fish dishesand not as varied as...

"The rooms are in an annexe to the pub. 24 hour access to the rooms with a key to that areas. Stairs are quite steep but there's not too many of them. The room was spacious and with central heating that worked. Also there was a small mobile heater and a fan. Only issue was the shower was small and the temperature of the water was impossible to get right. The English Breakfast tasted good, made to order, though the sausage was small.
