"I've come to this same motel in Salinas at least 5 times and it's overall pretty quiet. I always request a downstairs room and they have no problem accommodating me with that. It's a motel 6 so it's not lavishing but it's average and everyone is always nice. Check in and check out is fine and overall it's great for the price."

"We liked this place but...it's a little beach funky and worn. Wouldn't mind if I was looking at the ocean but we were looking at some houses. Breakfast is meh. Staff was very friendly, and the location is close to the ocean. I lived in Rio Del Mar a long time ago, and if you didn't already know, it can be foggy and cold a lot of the time. Still beautiful, but it's not for everyone. You can head up to Seacliff and have dinner at Manuel's and ice cream at Marianne's. Enjoy!"
