"The pub is excellent and the two meals we had really were excellent. That being dinner and breakfast the next morning. The real letdown of the stay was the room itself. The room was a good size and the bedroom was lovely, however the bathroom was full of mould stains and not particularly pleasant. The biggest downfall however was the bed. We stay at a lot of hotels and to say this bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever stayed in is not a understatement. Neither of us slept it was that bad...

"A friendly welcome from the host. He went out of his way to book us an alternative evening meal and taxi as the restaurant was booked up that day. Room was as expected. Breakfast was good and a good choice available all with friendly service. "
