"The room we were given a partial sea view, which was excellent. Our only criticism with the room was the layout, as there werent bedside tables on both sides, there was a big wardrobe, which could have been put elsewhere in the room. Other than that, it was excellent. "

"Nice clean family room, exactly as the pictures showed, perfectly functional room. Nice breakfast, served until 10 , which is nice if you’re a bit lazy in the morning! Great location, bang in the middle of town , 10 mins walk to the castle, and plenty of pubs and restaurants. The bar prices were quite steep (£7.35 a pint!!) but the cocktails were reasonably priced. "This hotel defied my expectations. After staying in brand hotels for the majority of my week long stay in the UK, this hotel was a breath of fresh air. Great parking considering the area, warm service, and excellent room design and cleanliness that felt like staying at grandma's house in the best of ways, the only exception being the wonderfully modernized bathrooms. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the wonderful little spot that Conwy is."

"This hotel is a gem! It's in a lovely location and the staff are fantastic - so helpful and friendly. They were also great with our dog. The on site restaurant has a varied menu and the food is excellent. The rooms themselves are also comfortable and there is plenty of parking on site. We had a fab stay and would love to return."

"Lovely hotel, Nice room, Nice and helpful staff, however it was incredibly HOT. we turned heating off but room still read at 27 degrees and in corridor even worse. Far too hot for a good nights sleep. PS. 27 degrees included having windows open and fans on. Apart from that it was wonderful! just a shame the heat let it down. "

"Lovely atmospheric hotel with interesting architecture The staff were all very friendly and helpful The garden are nice even in February but too wet out to fully explore. Could do with a bit of touching up here and there but our room was very comfortable with the biggest shower ever!"

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "
