"Stayed here for 2 nights for sightseeing in the area. 10 min walk to the city centre so convenient. Lovely B&B, our room was great, clean and well appointed with little extra touches like the sweets and biscuits. Lisa our host couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent. "Disappointing stay (Joss room) which was a shame as location was perfect for me. Shower was broken, was offered communal shower but on close inspection I decided not to use. Blind in room doesn’t close properly, lots of light coming in, very noisy fountain out front which you can still hear with windows closed. Very poor Wi-Fi. Pub itself was lovely, staff friendly, no food on Mondays though."

"Very welcoming hosts. Stayed in a cabin in the garden of the property; very cosy, great super king size bed & huge shower. Plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits that could be replenished daily. You could order breakfast at the same cost as ordering with the booking. Approx 25minute walk from the station down the crab & winkle way. Nice outdoor seating to have drinks/food at. Helpful to be able to leave our luggage at the accommodation on the last day. A great trip - definitely recommend!"

"The Doghouse is a great place to stay. Owners have thought of everything to make it so comfortable and welcoming. Amazing breakfast, really comfy bed and all absolutely spotless. Great base for visiting Kent coast. Parking in street, we managed to park close by each day. Surrounding area and properties appeared run down in places but would definitely recommend staying at The Doghouse"
