"Stayed for first time but will return. Excellent room & shower all efficiently handled. Only criticism would be that cooked breakfast was on a cold plate & bacon fat not cooked hardly at all but everything else was great. "

"Comfortable room, good shower and bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were welcome. Breakfast was fine. Room was quite noisy as on main road but ok unless you’re a very light sleeper. Overall, good value. 15 min walk into town, which was fine for us and free parking was helpful "

"Disappointing stay (Joss room) which was a shame as location was perfect for me. Shower was broken, was offered communal shower but on close inspection I decided not to use. Blind in room doesn’t close properly, lots of light coming in, very noisy fountain out front which you can still hear with windows closed. Very poor Wi-Fi. Pub itself was lovely, staff friendly, no food on Mondays though."
