"A lovely little out of the way hotel with plenty of parking. Staff are super friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Food was delicious, all locally sourced and even the locals were friendly. Recommend and would stay again. Would have been a 5* review but I couldn't get on the room wifi with any of my devices due to the Stampede client they used, but the staff even tried to help with this. Had to use the slower bar wifi instead."

"Very clean in every area of the building including the pub! Staff are friendly, helping you with anything you need. Felt very welcome for the time we were there. Dog friendly and everyone in there loved having ours in there. "

"When we arrived we were told by the landlady that the place was not a hotel as it was currently undergoing refurbishment. However the landlady and her mother were the most helpful, accommodating and kind people I have met in a long time. They gave us all food and drink, made telephone calls and even drove us to our rearranged hotel. They couldn’t have done more. When the hotel reopens it will be the best place to stay because of the kindness and welcoming of those who own and manage it."
