"For the past 6 years we have tested out various VRBO properties, trying to find the "perfect" spot for our family get togethers...and this past Labor Day weekend, we found it! Our requirements included: 1. Sandy beach with gradual depth so the grandkids could play...check! 2. Clear water so we could swim off the pontoon boat or dock...check! 3. Lake that's large enough to pull a raft behind the boat, but not over crowded with boaters...check! 4. A large, clean property...check! This house...

"If you're into big lake power sports, large gatherings, loud, late night bone fires, this is NOT the place for you. If you enjoy clean water, undisturbed shorelines, respectful neighbors, loons on the water, canoeing, good fishing (almost bigger than we wanted to catch in a canoe), reading books, lake swimming, clean, worry free accommodations, this IS the place for you. Although you don't get a basket of goodies upon check in (that you don't eat anyways), we felt this property was priced...

"It’s a great place! Newly remodeled. I understands that it may be a bit small for some families, but it was perfect for us. Thank you for being “Pet friendly”! It’s perfect location for restaurants and bars. We had our UTV and trail access was perfect. Louies Landing for Friday fish fry is a must!"

"Our kids enjoyed the pool table, games and fishing at the lake. We all enjoyed the evening views and took plenty of hikes at nearby trails. Good place to getaway!"

"The internet connection was very spotty. Tv in one bedroom had no cable access or internet. They did however have a huge assortment of dvd movies to watch! This was stocked well for cooking essentials. Very quiet in a secluded wooded lot. Great for a quiet getaway. Would come back again. "

"Such a beautiful, quaint little cabin! Views from the porch were amazing. Awesome having your morning cup of coffee on the porch or evening beer as you look at over the water. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and overall beautiful relaxing place this is definitely the place to stay. We stayed here October 10-13, 2024 and the colors in the area were fantastic, couldn't ask for a better weekend."

"Thoroughly enjoyed even though the fishy weren't biting! Well equipped home and beautiful peaceful setting . Only issue was the large amount of flying and dead flies found upstairs in loft. Think area possibly sprayed before arrival but would have been nice if they could have been swept up before arrival. All in all, a perfect weekend!"

"Our group really enjoyed the open floor plan in the Kitchen/Dining/Living room. We had a large group and friend and family in the area. We never felt crowded. Our group had all adults 3 couples and grown children. An additional Bedroom would have helped. Did not enjoy a bedroom/office in the walkway to the deck. Overall a very nice place need to continue the upgrades."

"This cabin was exactly the privacy and lack of inernet/cell service we desperately needed. Spacious enough that we're debating bringing a group next time! Some of the old VHS tapes and equipment/anemities were like a step back in time. Quiet, charming, and within driving distance (30-40 miles) of many great hiking spots and food. Honestly can't wait to come back!"
