"The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was large with a beautiful window that opened to a large courtyard. We enjoyed sitting out by the vineyards in the anfternoon and having a glass of wine. I highly recommend this place."

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Lots of room for the four of us (but it would easily have taken two more). All of the rooms were spacious and the house is very well equipped with everything you need. Plenty of outside space and the heated pool was large and kept to a good temperature. Lots of information from the host before arrival, he also checked in via email during our stay and there was a welcome pack with some essentials when we arrived. Highly recommended."

"We stayed at Château Borgeat de Lagrange in late June in celebration of the 10th anniversary of an annual gathering friends & family. There were 16 of us total: 8 parents, 8 children (all teenage and older). We had a wonderful time! To start with, our host, Estelle, was super helpful before, during and after our stay, including introductions to local chefs and photographers, as well as renting a van and shuttling us around St. Emilion one day. The Chateau itself was very much as advertised. Grandiose and inspiring, it transported us out of our daily grind and into a wonderful mental space for our vacation. While the top floor did get a bit toasty during our stay (we were there during a bit of a heat wave), the entire group had a wonderful time and the Chateau was the pedestal that we stood on to make it happen. Thank you Estelle and Château Borgeat de Lagrange for a special visit!"

"We had a great time at Hotel de Margaux. We stayed in the Suite Vénitienne which is a large apartment in a little chateau close to the hotel with a view on a nice pool and a vineyard. The host was very nice. Too bad that their restaurant was closed and we had to go outside for dinner."
