"The host was extremely helpful from airport pickup to drop-off, and everything in between. She arranged activities for me during my stay, made coca tea for me on occasion to help combat my elevation sickness, and even arranged for an early breakfast before an early morning excursion. They stored my luggage for 24 hours when I traveled to Machu Picchu. The bed was the most comfortable bed I slept in of all the hotels during my 3 weeks traveling through Peru. Will definitely stay here again next...

"The hotel provided a nice stay for our 1 night in Cusco. It was about a 15 minute walk to the city center which is where most of the restaurants and shopping are. Only issue, which was nothing the hotel could control, was a lot of local dogs barking during the night. "

"Family really liked the apartment facilities. Having two bathrooms was fantastic. Hotel is clean, really good breakfast and very cute rooftop overviewing the mountains. Did not like having to leave key in front desk, and almost a full day without hot water. One night was up at 3am due to heavy noise from other room, was explained some guests had a problem... We ubered as did not feel comfortable walking to the plaza from the location. very few restaurants nearby. Good laundry service nearby....

"The people at sol del oriente are some of the kindest staff ive ever met. They were super punctual and always happy to lend a helping hand. Big shoutout to darlene and juan-carlos for their hospitality! The only cons I have are of the room, the rooms are definitely showing ageing and water pressure and water temperature were an issue. However, at the end of the day, the room was still fairly comfortable and very affordable. Absolutely amazing proximity to wanchaq station."
