"I liked the fact that the staff were very happy and helpful. The only small fault I found was that the shower had developed a little leak I reported it and it was seen to. Outside of this minor thing I will book again next time I come back to Penzance 🕉️"

"Another fantastic stay at The Godolphin for us! The staff are so welcoming, warm and gracious from the receptionists to housekeeping and the dining staff. They’re so accommodating and welcoming of our children, which is so lovely. The food is divine; I especially enjoyed the mushroom gnocchi and pork belly and my husband loved the fish and chips and chocolate fondant. Staff go above and beyond every time to make the experience a lovely one. Special thanks to Prue and Riley for looking after us so well and the lovely girls on reception. We stayed in Penzer Point again and it’s such a gorgeous room; the view is everything! We left a £60 as a small thank you; please enjoy a drink on us!!! We’ll be back again for sure."

"Really welcoming, the staff were fantastic, evening meal & breakfast was excellent, the facilities, pool sauna were great, the only little moan is our room was quite close to the kitchen so we had a little noise early morning, but we would definitely stay again. "

"A really nice hotel close to the town centre. All staff were friendly and made an effort to make you feel welcome. The room had a good view of the sea (breakfast room too) and was spacious and clean. Full English breakfast was first class and great value as it came part of the room cost. Excellent hotel and would defo stay here again when visiting Cornwall."

"If you are after a "posh" hotel. This isn't it. What it is is a hotel with great staff, adequate room facilities that are spacious & clean and (above all) really good value. The friendliness of the staff seemed to generate a relaxed and friendly response in the visitors too. Each morning at breakfast guests would greet each other and talk about their days. Only a short (10-15 mins) walk from the bus and railway stations, this feels like a family run hotel. Despite being in the "off season" it was warm (in both senses of the word) and welcoming. I mustn't forget mentioning the breakfast (included in the cost of the room) that was a treat each morning. The Sunday carvery was also great, with the widest variety of different vegetables I have seen for quite a while. Thank you for pleasurable stay."

"This is a wonderful hotel, the staff are all lovely and friendly and very professional, the food is amazing, with great breakfast. The bar is a very friendly locals bar and they make you feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely stay again. "

"We had a wonderful one night stay as a small family (couple with a toddler). The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless. We had a family room with views of the valley. The beds were comfortable and the coffee machine was a lovely touch. Plenty of space as well. We had both dinner and breakfast at the adjoining restaurant, both were very good quality and tasty. It was very busy for saturday night people having their dinner... its obviously very popular, and for good reason. We would definitely recommend. And would return again. "
