"It was a small apartment in the upstairs of an old house. Very charming! It had a small kitchen for making your own meals, as well as living room with comfy couch & chair and TV. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and easy to comunicate with. Would be beautiful in the summer as it has a backyard garden! Host runs a garden store beside the house. Lots of plants for purchase as well as garden ornaments. A wonderful place to visit! "

"Lovely stay at Rose’s plantation house. House is beautifully appointed and lovingly cared for. Rose went out of her way to accommodate our very early departure. Looking forward to future stays here. "

"I stayed here a week with spouse, two friends, and two dogs for a bit of a "workation" leading up to a friend's wedding. We were really happy to find a listing that was truly pet-friendly i.e. not restricted to only one pet, not restricted by size, so thank you to the owners for that! "We spent a family weekend here and found everything to be comfortable and peaceful. The views of the lake and sunsets were spectacular and the time spent outside was quiet and serene. The hosts responded quickly to all queries and were very always helpful. A great time was had by all. "

"My stay was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were also better than I expected and included some hot options (e.g., eggs, sausages, waffles) as well as toast/bagels, cereal, and snacks (e.g., fruit, granola bars, muffins). There is a Kelsey's next door (less than 5 minute walk) which is helpful for dinner/a drink. There is an indoor pool, but no hot tub. Parking was a breeze and there were lots of open spots. Overall, I would recommend!"
