"Outside of the hotel didn’t look promising, but the inside of the room looked very updated and modern and clean, very close to Kurt’s island for bait if your on a ice fishing trip, right near the water, and within walking distance from the bars and restaurants downtown. Good tv channels and self check in/check out with door code."

"It was our first time in the UP and the lodge was perfect. My wife and I loved, and spent most of every evening in the lounge area playing the pinball and dart games. If we ever make it up that way again, we will definitely be staying at the lodge. Even the couple that we came to visit didn’t know it was here and are getting there family members to stay there when they visit. "

"The house was clean and inviting with an open floor plan. Great living room with plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen was well equipped. Lots of windows. Nice entry way to store ski equipment. Beds were comfortable. No complaints."
