"Excellent in many ways, clean and tidy and well appointed. It would have been better if there was a toilet on the mezzanine as my wife has to use a walking stick and the bannister did not go all the way to the ground floor. Inconvenient at night if you wished to use the toilet.The road was noisy at times.The booking agency did not provide entry details before we arrived. The neighbours were very helpful."

"We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage. On arrival we discovered tomatoes ripening on the window sill, scrummy fresh bread, a fruit bowl full of fruit, a selection of cereals, butter, jam, milk - to name a few. This is a wonderful place to escape to. It is quiet and peaceful, with huge views over the river and beyond.The only downside was no TV and no doors on the bedrooms, but that didn't worry us, and the reasonable price took this into consideration.
