"Perfect small hotel in a wonderful location. I know there are some reviews stating people couldn't check in. We had no issues. We communicated once we landed in Spain our estimated ETA. Olats at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She gave us maps of the city, suggested sights to see, places to eat, and even gave us tips on transportation around Bermeo and to San Juan. "Plenty of parking although can be competitive for spots in the weekend. Staff was superb, offering ideas of what to explore, and even helping us reserve at the full booked restaurant. Quiet from 11pm-7am when the church bells waken the town. Room was very good for a pencion and at night the sound of the ocean sooths the soul."

"I have recently returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel. As expected the hotel was basic but it is in a great location for exploring the area. The rooms can be quite noisy depending on where the room is situated and there were stains on the bed sheets and towels. When I arrived at the hotel I was told I could not check in until 2pm dispite the hotel.com website stating it was 12pm. That was the first piece of misadvertising. "This was a perfect home for our group of 6 (2 young children, 2 parents, and 2 grandparents) tucked away in the hills. It was conveniently located for day trips in the surrounding area. We spent wonderful afternoons lounging in the yard reading and watching the horses graze in the pasture right below us. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, and pleasant rooms for relaxing and visiting. The drive up the narrow road leading to the home seemed surreal. Couldn’t recommend the place more."

"This was a highly functional suite with 2 TV’s, European refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, dishes, cooktop, etc. the grocery store is<2 blocks away. Front desk is not staffed 7x24, but they ordered us a cab for non-staffed hours, and it arrived right on time. Very neat and clean. Trendy contemporary decor. We would go there again. There is dining nearby, but it is better about a 10 minute walk to the old city"
