"This motel was very convenient for a function we had to attend near Matakana and within easy walking distance of the town. Though the unit we were given was spacious, it was dated, while the arrangement of the furniture was rather unusual in that it was difficult to access the bathroom. "This motel looks quite scruffy from the outside but the unit itself had been refurbished and was quite spacious. Excellent beds and linen, but threadbare towels and no salt and pepper. A mirror by a powerpoint is needed for drying hair as the hairdryer can't be plugged in the bathroom. A handy location close to the beach and shops and surprisingly quiet at night."
