"We loved our stay here. Very clean and spacious for a couple with an awesome view and the breeze was the icing on the cake. Our host allowed us to use their beach chairs which were brand new so we didn’t have to pay for rentals at the beaches. We also had access to a small carry cooler which came is great for snacks and water. We gave five stars to all and would definitely stay here again. "

"Tradewinds Cottage has everything you need for a St John vacation. Well equipped kitchen plus coolers and beach chairs for hitting some of the best beaches in the world. "Really enjoyed my stay. The hosts were super nice and beyond helpful. It was super nice being right up the road from Salt Pond Beach. You’re on the less crowded side of the island so you get to see a lot of wildlife which I loved. My only suggestion is if you stay here you almost have to rent a car."

"Had a blast. Only problem is, WATER ISLAND needs to be put in imminent description. Had I been aware that this bed and breakfast was not located on the island of Saint Thomas, I could had planned better financial. If intended to stay in Water Island, 5 stars. Great, no complaints. But being on Water Island while intending to be in St Thomas bring extra hurdles into the equation. Not going into details as far as those. But it’s going to cost you extra. Which although, is met with hospitality…...

"Liked the fact that there were two separate apartments but could gather in the evening on the top deck and enjoy the views. My brother and his adult son stayed in one unit and my husband and I were in the other. The area was quiet and felt safe. It was easy to find with the directions given. I have been to St. John’s several times and the Fish Bay Area is my favorite area to stay."

"The property itself is impressive. Communication with the owner/property manager is fantastic, and I can't praise them enough. The only downside is that the roads to the property are very steep and narrow, but manageable."

"Overall the house was very lovely and close to Cruz Bay! We loved the beds and the view of the home. When we tried to find the house via Google maps, it was not the right spot. You need to ask your taxi driver to take you to Samuel Cottages. The check-in process was a bit difficult, but we had a helpful tax driver who didn’t leave until we got into the property. Thank you!"

"The place is small and there are a lot of stairs! But the views are stunning and there is everything you need for cooking basic meals, outdoor sunbathing, open air showers, and a very complete guide for things to do and places to go on the Coral Bay end of the island. The bedroom is a bit awkward with the bed up several uneven steps, but it's quite comfortable. Overall a great stay!"

Always available, and checked in during the frequent power outages that have been occurring throughout STT and STJ. "It was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the main land. It was clean and quiet. The outside area was amazing. The outdoor pool area lighting was great, but pop the lights off for a few minutes to really take in the gorgeous night sky without the light pollution we have become accustomed to.
