"Jim was a wonderful host with good practical and helpful information. Quite comfortable for 2 couples, and well equipped. Super comfortable beach chairs and cooler were used every day and were fantastic. Decking was a highlight. Just great for morning coffee sunrise, outdoor dining, lounges were a big plus too. Views were great and easy access off the main road. Would definitely return"

"Wow, what a view! This is our 6th trip to St. John and we have rented a home each time but the view from Sugar Bird topped them all. Sitting on the deck each morning watching the sun rise over the islands of the BVI was wonderful. The cottage as described is cozy but met our needs. "We stayed in a one bedroom cottage on the water at cane bay St Croix. The view of the water was incredible. The kitchen was well equipped and up to date. The bed and furniture were comfortable. The hosts Jay and Debra Fogg were so nice and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. They gave us information about where to eat, activities available, directions around the island. They reminded us to make reservations before we arrived. I would gladly stay there again."

If you’re looking for a place with a view this is not it. Also note the Peter Bay beach is small (narrow). Great for sitting in chairs. Not great for swimming (too rocky). But this worked for us.
