"One of the highlights of our trip to Thailand was our 3-night stay at Chiang Mai Elephant Friends. The entire staff was extremely personable, always greeting you with a smile throughout our visit. The two on-site restaurants serve excellent Thai cuisine and delicious smoothies! And the interaction with the elephants - feeding them and bathing them - truly a memorable experience that we will always cherish!"

"I wish I could give this place 6 stars, my stay here was fabulous. The garden and pool area is gorgeous, as are the rooms. Thai decor everywhere, just beautiful and unique. The hotel is run by a mother and her son and I felt so well taken care of and so comfortable during my entire stay. Very easy and cheap to get to Chiang Mai center from hotel and so nice to be able to return to this tranquil oasis after a busy day exploring the city."

"It was very difficult to get there, since google does not have any registered “elephant b&b.” Right out of the airport, ask to be taken to 3pok, and that’s where the hotel is. "Sook and 3Pok Resort is a good way to unplug from the world! Sook and his team are very down to earth and treats their guests as family members. They make sure you’re taken care of and always having a good time. He’s very laid back and happy to chat away about what to do around the resort. Should at least have bottle opener/cork screw for romatic drinks. This is good for secluded retreat. Not good area if you want to walk and shop and eat and drink. Nowhere to walk to. Last morning water too low to take shower??? I think isolated event. Not normal. Very nice place to stay for seclusion and romance."

"We stayed there two nights. Check-in was easy, and Sue was fabulous. The free breakfast was very good. We went swimming in the pool, which was clean and refreshing. We ate there for dinner, and this was convenient and very good as well. The only complaint we have is that the room had a strong odor as if it had just been bug sprayed and the water pressure was not that great. Other than that, it was reasonable at an affordable price."

"The hotel was very spacious, close to the resort cafe and reception and within walking distance to the riverbed and sanctuary. It had good amenities with a large outdoor shower with shower gel/ shampoo and toilet paper.
