"A gem indeed! This is a hosted site with likely the kindest people we’ve had the pleasure to stay with. The home is stunning, the yard is pristine, home made breakfasts every morning. "This is a very clean, quiet, and functional studio apartment in a prime location with all the amenities for an extended stay including washer/dryer. The best perk for me was secure underground self-parking spot with unlimited in-out via remote controlled gate. Communication with the host was prompt and check-in access was simple and well-described. A 3-minute walk to the pier and half a block to the E light rail line. Trader Joes and Target 2 blocks away. "The parking at the hotel is crazy high. Just park up the street and get it for 20 dollars overnight or 12 for daily. Other than that, what can I say. Freehand is mostly a hostel, but as far as hostels go, it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in. There's a rooftop pool and bar. There's a bar on the ground as well. There are food options and other bars right across the street. Overall the stay exceeded my expectations. "

"I love the friendly staff specially Dante and Chito. I have my mom who is 90 years old and they help her nicely to get out and in to our van. Great pool and food option in the restaurant. I am not a member but because of my awesome experiences I become a member the day I check out. The only thing i would like to add is for them to check their floor ice vending machine. My entire days of stay at the hotel the machine is not working. I ask and told the front desk but it no one came to fix it. Other than that all good experience. "

"Motel 6 is conveniently located to LAX at a reasonable price. The rooms and beds are comfortable and quiet. Only complaint is the shuttle only runs once an hour so if you just happen to miss it at the airport, you have to wait a full hour (sometimes longer if traffic is bad) to catch the next one."
