"The hotel is beautiful. The room we had was big for a European hotel. We had a balcony and the view was amazing. We took a day trip to Vevey and highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You are walking distance to train statiin and bus stop. Our only issue was we couldnt get our wifi connected for 3 days. The hotel was having issues with their wifi. Other than that, highly recommend. "

"Easily accessible right at the end of platform 1 but guests should be informed of this prior to stay. Very slow reception staff with not much personality but reception ambience lovely with the Freddie pics & music. Standard Room was fine on 4th floor - no view although on lake side & tap was slow to drain and drains smelt a little. Coffee machine and motorised blinds were good - no AC - very soft pillows but single beds comfy and room v spacious. Shower was excellent and nice towels. Although...

"Old school and old building. Excellent location and views, spacious rooms, fine service. The amenities were ok. The main issue is smoking. A non smoking hotel that hands out matches in every room, what do you think it’s going to happen? If you’re a smoker it’s for you. For me it was always an exercise in opening the windows to get the smell out of the room and close them quickly when the suicidal monkey next door smoked in their balcony"
