"Three of us wanted to get away from the January cold in Maine for the month. The house was perfect in every way. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely linens, good instructions & recommendations. The owner was readily available by text with great follow-up.. While not beach weather, the days were mostly warm, and some rain. It was all we expected. The markets in town were excellent. Grocery and restaurant prices were much lower than home! "

"I was impressed with the property initially, it was well equipped but lacked a milk jug and teapot. Also the internet was often unavailable.One of the biggest problem were the beds, far too low and the pillows were poorly filled and therefore uncomfortable.I had to go out and buy two new ones. The showers were extremely difficult to control and one was in great danger of being scalded. The shower cubicle downstairs was too small to turn around in as a result your body would inadvertently either...

"This will be a repeat location. After expecting a noisy finish to the day we were not disappointed. Expecting it and being surprised by it are two different things. The next 6 nights we slept like babies, used to it. What a beautiful place and location. It’s our Portugal FAVORITE vacay for the future. Just it’s really hard to get!!!"

The outside areas and garden were one of the largest areas we have had when hiring a villa. Plenty of seating areas and options when spending time outside. "Great property with nice south facing outside areas. The urbanisation is a little remote from Castro Marim and a car is necessary. Easy access to great beaches and the motorway. The area is less well known than some of the Algarve but full of history."

"Excellent old town centre location which is great for easy access to restaurants, bars, ferry and supermarkets. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting/dining area.We really appreciated the wood burner which quickly heated up the house."
