"This is a very nice place. Very clean, very comfortable, and the free pasties was an unexpected and delightful surprise. Conveniently located near the state park, we were able to take short walks along the shoreline of two lakes. The only drawback to the location is the proximity to M-115 with the loud traffic noise. "Thank you for opening up your cottage for our 10 day stay! It was more than we expected! The owners thought of everything... we were able to cook a few nights on the grill and the location was close to the lakes, but far enough for quiet "in the woods" nights! Super clean and the welcome basket was very thoughtful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for couples or families! A besutiful property! Thanks again for your hospitality! "

"We were all very impressed with the house, the property, and all of the amenities. Kitchen was stocked very well. The lake was excellent for kayaks. The fire pit was a big hit also. We had a fire every night and had plenty of wood. The outdoor shower was very useful too. The only thing I might add is another bathroom."

"We rented Hank's place to get out and about in the surrounding public lands. Hank was very knowledgeable of the area and more than willing to share his favorite locations and trails with us. The cabin was comfortable and very conveniently located. Hank was an excellent host making sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our experience throughout. Highly recommend. "

"Our stay was great. The cabin was cute and comfortable. Very quiet area with a great view. The host was very prompt in responding to our two very minor questions about the lock and more wood for the stove. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The only thing I would say is the kitchen pots and pans are very minimal. So if you are like us and cook most meals I would recommend bringing what you need pan wise. All in all a nice relaxing weekend away. "
