"We enjoy staying at properties that reflect an America of times past. Our suite was spacious, and nicely furnished. The common areas, and dining areas were representative of the style of the hotel, and were well maintained. The food service was excellent, and reasonably priced. Two minor criticisms: one, we had a first floor suite facing the porch that poured light into the room. Blackout shades would have enhanced our sleep experience. The second; a small refrigerator would have made our stay more comfortable by allowing us to enjoy fruit and cold drinks."

It is located close to skyline drive and the Shenandoah National Park. We did some hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Would highly recommend this property!"

"Good, comfortable cabin. Beautiful location! Did not have cell phone signal or Wi-Fi, so it's great if you want to have no interruptions from the modern world. Great location to visit the Luray Caverns, Shenandoah NP and the Skyline Drive. The owner is close by so if you have a problem (like I did, of my own making) he's close enough to take care of it. Would go back again!"

"Absolutely loved this stay, what a beautiful place to relax and escape, by the river surrounded by trees, not too far to venture to some activities and the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah River. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, stargazing and watching the fireflies at night and even got to watch a short lightning storm across the next valley. Only a 6/7 min drive to the supermarket, petrol station and some fast food places, a few more mins to the centre of Luray where there are a few small shops, cafes and a great ice-cream parlour. Our only very minor issue was that from the listing before booking it wasn’t obvious that we needed to bring our own bedding, and travelling from the UK that was an issue. However as soon as I messaged them about this they said they would sort it out for us. As soon as we arrived they were straight round with the bedding and towels and answered any questions we had. Great hosts, would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone that was looking to stay in the Luray area."
