"This place is an absolute delight. It’s a winery built in the middle of an old medieval castle next to a mountain stream and surrounded by vineyards. The wines are delicious. The pool is perfect for cooling off. The rooms are lovely- ours overlooked the neighbouring village which was a 15 minute walk along a riverside path and over an ancient pedestrian only bridge. "Beautiful location, we had nice terrace to sit out on overlooking pool. Not sure all rooms as good. Rooms are in a partially restored village and quite basic but in character. Views of green hills and distant mountains great. We were surprised though that village is some 800 meters above reception and restaurant down steep road . Most people seemed to dive and we walked as we like to try local wine. Restaurant is great and reasonable priced, 60 Euro for tasting menu with local wine for two...

"A very nice friendly family run hotel. The position is not great, too far from the sea and much further than the website indicates it is 10 km to Lerici. The hotel is comfortable and convenient in many ways, one issue for me was the position of the pool which is on the edge of the dining room and it was difficult to swim with big lunch parties looking straight at you. Not a great breakfast, no eggs and lots of pastry."
