"WOW WOW WOW What an Amazing Sevice, everything else is as a high end 5 star hotel should have, but we have never experienced the service we received at this hotel, honestly the service should get 10 stars - Rosy took so good care of us, absolute amazing. The hotel is located together with the ifc mall (best in Shanghai), and right next to the 3 tall buildings."

"First time staying at Mandarin Oriental in Shanghai, and what a great experience it was! Front desk staff, fast check in, consierge (forgot name of the Mr.) gave me all needed informations about the hotspots in city! Room, modern, clean and spacious with a nice view over the financial district and the river. Breakfast is diverse, Asian/European style. Gym area is superb, combined with 25m swimming pool, saunas, and massage facilities. Overall good value for the money! "

"Overral impression is okay. Service is a main point of concern. During the lunch time in the lobby area after having main courses and salads we were not allowed to share a single pot of tea for three of us. We have been forced to buy 3 pots of tea instead: one for each of us. In the meanwhile during all 5 breakfasts we had there, every time we asked for tea there was only one pot served as a default setting. No doubt we had more on request, but after a request only. "
