"Wow! From the moment we drove through the gates and were welcomed by Valentino, we were blown away. The property is stunning from the outside but is surpassed by what the owners have done to decorate the inside. Each room is breathtaking and the service of nightly orderves left us totally impressed. The final piece de resistance was the amazing meal that Val served up to us, complete with specially selected wines. We were so grateful for the assistance we were provided with arranging our daily visits to nearby attractions as well. We don’t get to France much but we will be visiting again whenever we can. "

"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

"We had a great time at Hotel de Margaux. We stayed in the Suite Vénitienne which is a large apartment in a little chateau close to the hotel with a view on a nice pool and a vineyard. The host was very nice. Too bad that their restaurant was closed and we had to go outside for dinner."

"This property was straight out of French heaven. A quiet, peaceful oasis in the countryside yet so close to many things to do including wineries, great restaurants, the estuary, and even Bordeaux the city. Isabelle, the owner, was wonderful and so helpful. Our room was small but so clean and cute. Access to a shared kitchen with refrigerator was a bonus (there is a small fee to cook in the kitchen, but not to use the fridge or wash a dish or two). Breakfast was cooked fresh each morning by Isabelle and served in a lovely glass sunroom off the main (private) house. The property is gated so very private and safe. I would stay here again and highly recommend. "
