"I’ve stayed St Tregenna several times in the last 10 years. Staying in a castle room, in a hotel apartment and this time in a separate one bedroom apartment in a wooden barn type block. It’s a great walk into town through the estate. Check in was a little inconsistent and we weren’t offered a map - the people beside us were. We also weren’t asked if we wanted to add breakfast or told about bar and restaurant opening hours etc, missed opportunities. The apartment was clean - but tired. Great shower pressure but the shower heads could do with taking down and soaking. Plenty of tea and milk in the room which was also great. "

"Stayed many years ago and high standards have remained. Beautiful gardens. Only downside was the dinner menu which did not change over the three nights we stayed. When we commented on this, we were told that out of high season, guests didn’t stay for more than one or two nights."

"The views from the property were stunning. The room was a good size, we loved the complementary gin! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were immaculate. A fantastic weekend."

". The inn is only about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and 15 minutes from the sea front. The rooms were spotless and there was plenty of toiletries and tea, biscuits etc provided. We managed to get something to eat there on the first night despite it being busy and near closing time for the kitchen. It was also nice to have a nightcap in the bar before a two minute walk up the stairs to bed. We shall definitely make this a regular stop off when passing through Penzance. "
