"Shaka Caye is a MUST for people who enjoy the tranquility of a tropical island, but have the option for ADVENTURE. Not only is there much to do on the island (kayaking, sand volleyball, paddle boarding, local sea life, a near-by caye you can explore all on your own-) you can charter a boat to enjoy Caye Caulker, snorkeling and cave tubing. My partner and I aimed to do charter a boat for an inland-adventure, but ultimately were so enchanted by what the island had to offer we just stayed put :)...

"This hotel did not keep up with the Ramada Inn reputation. The room was good with a nice ocean view. The dining experience was a zero. Limited, cold food and the wait was long. Charge for everything but “sorry, we’re out of that.” No one at counter, always having to search and wait for someone even to pay. Casino was horrible and returned money in Beliezian dollars."

I didn’t realize when I booked it that it didn’t have a patio, but now we know for next time. The grounds were incredible and so well kept. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the area and felt safe with all the onsite staff and security on premises. They also did complimentary laundry service daily, which was sooooo helpful with being able to pack light and go...

There’s a sea wall so not a swimming beach,and no dining options on site, but epic sunrises and real people as guests.
