"The check-in was quick, seamless and the lass on reception was friendly, welcoming and helpful, telling us everything we needed and asking if we had any food allergies. The room was clean, no marks, dust, well presented and had all the amenities we required. The bed was clean, comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate and the views of the Farne Islands was incredible. "If you are someone who wants to walk around a busy village, here may not be the best place for you however many places like alnwick centre are only at 20 minute drive. the rest of the property as immaculate as well as the service we experienced."

"Had a lovely short break at the Cottage Inn, excellent location within walking distance of Craster and in a central position on the Northumberland Coast. Good base for anyone travelling in the area. The hotel has a real "pub feel" to it which we enjoyed as the locals were in the bar each evening which made a good atmosphere. Will certainly return"
