"Different. I mean that in the absolute best sense of the word. From the small red door to come in, to taking my shoes off inside, the classical music playing on entrance, the beautiful fireplace and welcome area, the suit of armour, the staircase, the 4 poster bed, the free standing bath...I could go on and on but this is possibly my favourite hotel I've ever stayed in. "Lovely room. Easy access. Proper Hot water and heating unlike many places these days which was a Godsend. Lovely breakfast room and the whole place beautifully clean. 24 hour soft drinks and snacks available which meant my 3am snack fest eliminated my hangover. Thanks Jo & Buzz! See you next time :)"

"A beautiful property. Owner Carole was very welcoming. The room was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. Very large and comfortable bed. The owners own the pub down the road which serves good food with very generous portions."

"A bright, clean and contemporarily furnished space with everything we needed. There were just a couple of (minor) niggles such as the fact that there's very little space to get around the bottom of the bed if you need the bathroom in the night and the bathroom cabinet could be moved higher up the wall; its current position inhibits access to the sink.But otherwise we had no complaints and we enjoyed our stay."
