"My wife and I go to Southend often and found the Hamiltons Boutique Hotel which we haven't stayed in before. We had a message in the morning to confirm what time we'll be arriving which I thought was a nice touch. We had a lovely welcome and being out of season, we was given the Hamilton Suite with a sea view. The whole hotel was lovely and clean and bright with lots of light. "Very welcoming hosts. Stayed in a cabin in the garden of the property; very cosy, great super king size bed & huge shower. Plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits that could be replenished daily. You could order breakfast at the same cost as ordering with the booking. Approx 25minute walk from the station down the crab & winkle way. Nice outdoor seating to have drinks/food at. Helpful to be able to leave our luggage at the accommodation on the last day. A great trip - definitely recommend!"

"Driftwood Beachhouse is perfectly located to enjoy fresh air, birdsong and peace and quiet. Jez was a great host, really friendly and accommodating, giving us helpful local advice and getting the hot tub ready each evening. Breakfast was delicious.
