"Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Bed comfortable. The ladder and low ceiling above bed not fun but we knew the deal. No fan or air conditioning. 1 coat hanger. Overall it's good for the money. "

"Great vineyard location. We had big room right next to the vines! As part of the stay there is a complementary wine tasting and a shared hot tub! E-bike hire is available to explore the multiple vineyards in Gibbston. Restaurant on site is good - but closes quite early - however grazing boxes are available or there is an oven/ hob in the rooms "

"We had a great stay at Balmoral Lodge. The lodge is in a beautiful location overlooking the lake. The property is a little dated but the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed."

"We have rented this house for family vacation. It has very nice location, it's clean, spacious and comfortable. Very nice outside deck with comfortable outdoor furniture. The only thing that prevents us from giving 5 stars are the bathrooms - they were OK but could use an update."

"This place was super nice with all modern amenities, even air conditioning! AIR CONDITIONING!! The only concern for staying here would be that its near an airport. That wasn't an issue for the wife and I because we love planes, but the sound could be a turn off for others.
